Round 1
"The Next Emperor" is rocked by a standing elbow strike. "Andrei Arlovski" presses forward landing a couple more strikes, but "The Next Emperor" survives the onslaught with well timed blocks. Lukyan Melnikov attempts a striking combination, but Fyodor forces the clinch. "The Next Emperor" drops down and thrusts forward with a textbook double leg takedown. Lukyan backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Melnikov connects with a series of punches forcing Fyodor Gavrilov into a clinch. Fyodor Gavrilov dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Melnikov standing over him. "Andrei Arlovski" lays into Fyodors thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Gavrilov does so. The bell signals the end of round 1.

Round 2
Fyodor Gavrilov is rocked by a standing elbow strike. "Andrei Arlovski" presses forward landing a couple more strikes, but Fyodor Gavrilov survives the onslaught with well timed blocks. Fyodor Gavrilov unleashes a flurry of punches on "Andrei Arlovski". Lukyan Melnikov fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Gavrilov. Melnikov recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. Melnikov connects with a right that puts Fyodor off balance tumbling to the mat, as Melnikov towers over him. Lukyan Melnikov drops a huge strike to Fyodor Gavrilovs chin, landing into his guard. Round 2 is finished.

Round 3
Fyodor Gavrilov lands a left hook, only to follow up with a strong kick to the ribs. Melnikov keeps Gavrilov at a distance with some well timed jabs. Lukyan lands a strong outside leg kick that buckles Fyodor Gavrilov. Fyodor Gavrilov is rocked by a standing elbow strike. Lukyan lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by "The Next Emperor". Round 3 is over.
