Round 1 Gray fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Richard to a corner. Richard swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. An heel strike attempt is dodged by Leon Gray and he traps Renauds extended leg to move to half guard. Leon Gray tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Gray slips out of half guard and into side control. Leon lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Renaud tries to get back to full guard, but has to settle with half guard.Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Richard Renaud presses forward and grazes Gray with a combo. Gray wants none of the stand up and clinches with Richard Renaud to then savagely throw him down to the ground. Gray drops a huge strike to Renauds chin, landing into his guard. Richard attempts an armbar. Leon Gray time a spin perfectly landing a strong overhand as he works his way into Renauds guard. Leon Gray passes through Renauds guard into mount. Gray secures his position. Renaud gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Leon Gray lands a series of heavy punches forcing Renaud to roll to his back, giving Leon Gray mount. Leon Gray maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 "Cookie Monster" connects with a strong right hook. Gray parries Richards jab and connect with a cross. Richard Renaud executes a single leg giving him the back of Leon. Renaud tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Leon Gray starts to wiggle out of back control, Richard lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Gray takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Richard circles Leon, mixing jabs and leg kicks. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
