Round 1 Vincent fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Simmons. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Martin escapes the clinch and creates some distance. "Red Dragon" takes Simmons down to the mat with a good double leg takedown, leading to him standing over Simmons. Vincent drops a huge strike to Berts chin, landing into his guard. Martin takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Berts guard. It doesn't pay off as Simmons makes his way to standing. Vincent Martin catches a leg kick from Bert Simmons, and puts him on the mat. Bert is hit with a series of powerful punches while utilizing the guard. Martin forces Berts leg down, giving him the chance to pass into side control. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Simmons circles "Red Dragon", mixing jabs and leg kicks. Bert circles Vincent Martin, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Bert executes a single leg giving him the back of "Red Dragon". Simmons tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Vincent starts to wiggle out of back control, Bert lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Bert Simmons circles "Red Dragon", mixing jabs and leg kicks. A couple of powerful body shots forces "Richard" back to the corner. "Red Dragon" swims to double underhooks. "Richard" cannot stop "Red Dragon" from stepping back and taking him to the floor. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 "Red Dragon" fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Bert. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. A strong elbow forces Bert to lose his balance and fall to the floor. Vincent drops a huge strike to "Richards" chin, landing into his guard. Bert lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Bert goes for a kimura from the bottom, but Martin slips out at the last second. Bert Simmons goes for a kimura from the bottom, but "Red Dragon" slips out at the last second. Martin attempts a huge overhand right but Bert Simmons bucks back and switches Martin into mount. Round 3 comes to a close.
