Round 1 The fighters circle each other. Stan takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Robinson gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Belanger tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Stan starts to wiggle out of back control, Belanger lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Robinson is staggered by a jab to the chin. The fighters circle each other. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Troy Belanger takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Stan Robinson ducks and weaves through a quick combo from Belanger and knocks him back with a shovel punch to the jaw. The fighters circle each other. Belanger throws a cross that easily dodged by Stan Robinson. Stan Robinson circles Troy, landing jabs and crosses at will. Robinson is hit with a jab-cross and then brutally shoved to the ground. Troy falls into his guard, delivering a strong punch as he does so. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Robinson connects with a series of punches forcing Troy into a clinch. Stan places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Troy Belanger recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. Stan Robinson takes Belanger down to the mat with a good double leg takedown, leading to him standing over Belanger. Robinson drops a huge strike to Troy Belangers chin, landing into his guard. Stan Robinson takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Belangers guard. It doesn't pay off as Belanger makes his way to standing. A double-leg shot is stuffed initially by Troy Belanger, but Stan Robinson is able to muscle through for a takedown. A deep cut is open up over the eye of Troy Belanger from strikes in the guard. The ref stops the fight so the doctor can look at it. The doctor says he can continue. Two strong elbows from Robinson dazes Belanger. Robinson transitions into side control. Round 3 comes to a close.
