Round 1
Lima Barbosa is hit with a jab and then taken down by a beautiful single-leg takedown. Lima Barbosa attempts to transition to the butterfly guard but Gordon is too quick and takes half guard. "Bad News Bear" is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Gordon Brown splits Barbosas nose open with a well timed punch. "Sons de Carrilhoes" gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Lima tries to explode out the backdoor but Gordon Brown sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Lima falls flat to protect himself. Brown lands a series of heavy punches forcing "Sons de Carrilhoes" to roll to his back, giving Brown mount. Round 1 is finished.

Round 2
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Barbosa receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. Barbosa recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. Brown takes Lima down to the mat with a good double leg takedown, leading to him standing over Lima. "Bad News Bear" drops a huge strike to Lima Barbosas chin, landing into his guard. "Bad News Bear" takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Barbosas guard. It doesn't pay off as "Sons de Carrilhoes" makes his way to standing. Brown stuffs a shot from Lima Barbosa and hits him with a hard hook to the temple and pushes him to take his guard. A strong chopping strike hits Brown across the face. Brown lands a series of return strikes. While caught in the guard, "Bad News Bear" opens up a cut on Lima Barbosa with a devestating elbow. Round 2 is over.

Round 3
Gordon fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Lima to a corner. Lima swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. A couple of hard outside strikes opens up Lima Barbosas guard and Brown is able to move to half guard. Brown is able to slip into mount from the half guard. "Sons de Carrilhoes" shifts his head and hips to keep Gordon off balance and unable to land strikes. Lima Barbosa gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Lima tries to explode out the backdoor but Gordon Brown sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Lima falls flat to protect himself. Gordon lands undefended strikes to the side of Limas head. The ref stops the fight.
