Round 1
Patterson is hit with a jab-cross and then brutally shoved to the ground. "Spidey" falls into his guard, delivering a strong punch as he does so. Rodrigues pushes down Gerards leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. "Spidey" tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Rodrigues slips out of half guard and into side control. "Spidey" drops some hammer fists on Gerard. Eder Rodrigues slides his knee across the body of Patterson and takes full mount. Round 1 is finished.

Round 2
Gerard stuffs a takedown but is backed into a corner and must slide into guard to avoid being picked up. Patterson is caught in a can opener and opens his guard. He lands two quick strikes but "Spidey" transitions to half guard. Eder Rodrigues opens a cut over the eye of Gerard. The doctor takes a look at it, and says he's okay to continue. Rodrigues slips out of half guard and into side control. Patterson takes a few knees to the body while under Rodriguess side control. Rodrigues lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Round 2 is over.

Round 3
Gerard throws a cross that easily dodged by Rodrigues. "Spidey" circles Patterson, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Patterson throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Rodrigues puts Patterson on the mat giving his back up. Rodrigues lands a series of heavy punches forcing Gerard to roll to his back, giving Rodrigues mount. Eder maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. "Spidey" secures his position. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
