Round 1 "Jr" attempts to press in but Powell uses a inside reaping to put "Jr" on the canvas. Powell hops to side control. Powell slides his knee across the body of Tancredo and takes full mount. Tancredo attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Pereira gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Craig Powell tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Powell peppers Tancredo Pereira with several shots to the face. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Craig Powell places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. "Jr" decides to abandon the clinch by pulling guard and bringing Craig with him. "Jr" lands a stiff elbow while on his back. "Ice Cold" tries to pass guard but "Jr" stops him with a well timed punch. Powell attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Tancredo slips out of it at the last moment. While in the guard, Craig drops a long punch. Pereira throws the leg over and rolls it over into an armbar. Craig has no choice but to submit.
