Round 1 Dante eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Justin Cook. Dante narrowly dodges a cross from Cook, but falls catching him in his guard. Justin attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Beaulieu slips out of it at the last moment. Beaulieu gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. Justin tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Justin Cook tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Justin Cook slips out of half guard and into side control. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Beaulieu fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Justin. Dante works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Dante Beaulieu attempts to pull guard, but slips, putting him on the ground, and with Justin Cook standing over him. Cook drops a huge strike to Beaulieus chin, landing into his guard. Justin Cook tries to pass guard but "The Golden Stache" stops him with a well timed punch. Dante Beaulieu shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Beaulieu attempts an armbar from the bottom, but Cook slips out at the last moment. Beaulieu tries to slide out of guard, but a scramble ensues. Justin Cook ends up mounted by Beaulieu. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Cook connects with a series of punches forcing Beaulieu into a clinch. Justin Cook places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Justin Cook dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Dante Beaulieu standing over him. Dante attempts to drop a fist on Justin Cook, but misses and lands in his guard. Justin lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Cook goes for a kimura from the bottom, but Dante Beaulieu slips out at the last second. Justin connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Cook sinks a deep kimura, but Dante Beaulieu slides out. This gives Cook the chance to switch to half guard. The bell signals the end of round 3.
