Round 1 The fighters circle each other. Steve Colon narrowly dodges a cross from "The Rock", but falls catching him in his guard. Steve Colon shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Phillips attempts to drop bombs while caught in the guard, but Steve takes the chance to switch Phillips over to mount him. "The Rock" pulls Steve Colon close to avoid a flurry of strikes. Phillips attempts to escape mount but has no luck. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 "Spider" attempts a striking combination, but "The Rock" forces the clinch. "Spider" places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Colon dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with "The Rock" standing over him. Rocky Phillips attempts to drop a fist on Steve, but misses and lands in his guard. Steve Colon shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. "The Rock" pulls out of the guard of Colon, stands up, feels it out, and drops a huge right hand to the jaw of Colon. Steve Colon shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Rocky Phillips backs out of the guard, and chooses to stand with his opponent, allowing him to his feet. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 "Spider" snaps back the head of Phillips with a stiff jab. Colon narrowly dodges a cross from Rocky Phillips, but falls catching him in his guard. Phillips tries to pass guard but "Spider" stops him with a well timed punch. "Spider" attempts to lock in an armbar from the guard. Phillips narrowly avoids it, but allows for "Spider" to take mount. Colon secures his position. Rocky Phillips is hit with multiple punches, and taps out.
