Round 1 Brad weaves through a jab-cross combo but is met with a strong knee. Chad Smith keeps Brad at a distance with some well timed jabs. "The Myth" parries Jenkinss jab and connect with a cross. After dodging a jab, "The Myth" lands a kick to the ribs of Brad Jenkins who winces in pain. Jenkins is hit with a hook and a shovel punch and stumbles backward. Smith explodes forward with a push kick that puts Jenkins on the canvas. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Brad snaps back the head of Chad Smith with a stiff jab. Jenkins narrowly dodges a cross from Chad Smith, but falls catching him in his guard. Jenkins goes for a kimura from the bottom, but Smith slips out at the last second. Jenkins backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Chad Smith is staggered by a jab to the chin. Jenkins narrowly dodges a cross from Smith, but falls catching him in his guard. Jenkins sets in an omaplata, forcing "The Myth" to roll through, giving Jenkins side control. Brad slides his knee across the body of "The Myth" and takes full mount. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Brad sends Smith to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Smith dodges some ground strikes from Jenkins, and sends a few back of his own. Brad takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Smiths guard. It doesn't pay off as Smith makes his way to standing. Chad throws a cross that easily dodged by Jenkins. The fighters circle each other. Smith takes a punch and goes to the mat, Jenkins pounces into side control. Smith recovers quickly. Brad Jenkins attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from Chad for his troubles. Brad slides his knee across the body of Smith and takes full mount. Round 3 is over.
