Round 1 A left high kick from Kit Russow keeps Rob Collins at bay. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Collins drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. "Surfer" sets a guillotine choke but Collins slips out at the last moment. Collins is now caught in guard. Kit Russow works to the butterfly guard. Rob Collins tries to throw a punch but is off balance and Kit Russow shoots up to a standing position. A jab from Collins is blocked and a cross is returned by Russow. Rob connects with a strong right hook. Collins parries a jab but is caught by a sweeping leg kick that sends him to the floor. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Kit lands multiple inside leg kicks that have Rob Collins circling away. Kit Russow tries to hyperextend the knee of Rob with a kick to the kneecap. Rob hops back to avoid it. Kit lands a strong outside leg kick that buckles Collins. Kit then switch kicks Collins on the opposing rib. Rob attempts to press in on Kit but is met with powerful inside-leg kicks. Kit Russow chips away at Collins with a series of kicks to the legs. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Russow lands a stiff jab and inside-leg kick. Kit connects with a hard punch making Rob bring him in to a tight clinch. "Bananas in Pajamas" drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Kit Russow sets a guillotine choke but "Bananas in Pajamas" slips out at the last moment. "Bananas in Pajamas" is now caught in guard. Kit Russow attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. "Surfer" dodges a jab and lands a kick to the face of Collins. Rob Collins shoots in from a distance and knocks Kit down with such force he ends up on his stomach. Rob Collins scrambles to his back. Round 3 is finished.
