Round 1 Otake connects with a series of punches forcing Long into a clinch. Long gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. "SD" attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Bart Long pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Kohaku Otake throws a cross that easily dodged by Long. "SD" eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Bart Long. "SD" eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Bart. Bart Long takes down Kohaku, but remains standing over him. Bart Long attempts to drop a fist on "SD", but misses and lands in his guard.Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Otake keeps Bart Long at a distance with some well timed jabs. Kohaku fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Bart Long. Otake drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Bart sets a guillotine choke but Otake slips out at the last moment. Otake is now caught in guard. Otake takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Bart Longs guard. It doesn't pay off as Long makes his way to standing. Long catches a leg kick from Kohaku, and puts him on the mat. Kohaku connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Bart Long drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Kohaku attempts to create some space from his guard, but Bart sees the opening and passes to full mount. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Kohaku Otake is staggered by a jab to the chin. Kohaku takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Kohaku Otake attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Long pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Bart Long catches a leg kick from Otake, and puts him on the mat. Bart Long takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Kohakus guard. It doesn't pay off as Otake makes his way to standing. Long narrowly dodges a cross from Otake, but falls catching him in his guard. Bart Long sets in an omaplata, forcing "SD" to roll through, giving Bart Long side control. "SD" takes a few knees to the body while under Longs side control. Bart Long lands a few stiff elbows from side control. The bell signals the end of round 3.
